Top Shelf Connections

Top Shelf Connections, our Thursday evening worship and discussion meet-up is a progressive Christian discussion group that explores where life and faith intersect in a modern world. An open and affirming group, we welcome all of God's children to join us regardless of any identifier. We offer a safe-place for everyone to grow in their relationship with God, creation, others, and self. Join us for discussion, drinks, food, and good people. Open to all people and all faiths.

We currently are pub hopping looking for our next home pub for the quarter, check out our Facebook page for updates as to where we will be at each week during our pub-hopping sessions (just look for Top Shelf Connections once on the event page).

Church for those who don't like church. Let's grow in our faith together, united as one.
Real Life. Real Faith. Today.

Top Shelf Connections is a group for those who thirst for more. More connections, more inspiration, and more understanding. A discussion group for people of all ages, faiths, and views that is family-friendly. Single or married, --join us. Straight or gay, --join us. Young, Old, or In-Between, --join us. Christian or non-Christian,  --join us. We gather most Thursday's, and each person is invited to order drinks (non-alcoholic or alcoholic) and/or food while participating in friendly discussion about things that matter to each of us and to our faith. Come make new friends through faith-filled and thought provoking conversation in a casual, relaxed atmosphere. All are welcome!

A discussion-style meet-up based on the Pub Theology movement. Simply put, Pub Theology, is open and honest conversation about things that matter in a pub or coffeehouse setting. A table at which all perspectives are welcome. People have been gathering in pubs and public spaces for ages, talking about life, philosophy, faith, and deep questions of meaning. Increasingly, people all over are rediscovering the pub as a safe, open space where they can explore and express their own doubts and questions, learn from others, and engage people of varying religious traditions. In our increasingly fractured society, these spaces are not only welcome, but needed.

The format is simple: beer (aka beverage of choice), conversation, and God. Come bring your questions, your curiosity, and pull up a chair. Be ready to engage with people of varying religious traditions, philosophical perspectives and life experiences. You’ll be able to share your own wrestlings and thoughts while learning something new along the way, and hey— there’s likely to be a good craft beer you haven’t tried yet (and there is always coffee available too)!
