Reverend Dr. Rob Apgar-Taylor

 

Rob Apgar-Taylor is the church planter with the vision that has become Veritas UCC.  Rob is an ordained minister with 25 years of experience.  After experiencing firsthand the exclusion and predjudice that accompanies being outside the traditional norm of Christianity, he began to sense God's call to form a Christian community of faith where all people were truly accepted and loved just as God made them to be.

With a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry with a concentration in Spirituality, Pastor Rob sees Veritas as a much needed faith community where people from all walks of life can come together to grow in the love of God and the world around them. Rob lives in Hagerstown with his husband (a D.C.Police Officer) and has 5 children and three young grandchildren.
